Rooted in Irondequoit

My dedication to public service in our community runs deep. As a third-generation Irondequoit resident, the son of union members and a current public union leader, I graduated from Irondequoit High School and attended both Monroe Community College and SUNY Brockport to pursue my undergraduate degree in Education and graduate degree in Public Administration.

I worked as an educator in the West Irondequoit Central School District and coached JV softball in East Irondequoit before transitioning my career into government, previously working for Monroe County and now employed by the New York State Department of Labor. My professional and volunteer experiences in multiple public and private sectors — including education, public health, workforce and community development — have prepared me well to serve as a member of the Irondequoit Town Board.

I have a long history of service to Irondequoit through nearly a decade of experience on the Irondequoit Zoning Board of Appeals, on the town's Community Development Block Grant committee, as a board member of the Winona Woods Neighborhood Association, and through leadership roles in local Democratic organizing.

It has been a privilege to play such an active role in shaping the future of my hometown and the place my wife, Abby, and I are proudly raising our three young children. I understand the needs of other young families like ours in town, of residents who are caregivers to our aging senior population, and those who want to see Irondequoit continue to grow and flourish.
